Original price- $10.00
store a) 50% off
$10.00 divide by 2 = $5.00
Price- $5.00

store b) 25% off one day followed by 25% off reduced price the second day.
$10.00 divide by 4 = 2$2.50 $10.00 - $2.50 = $7.50
$7.50 divide by 4 = $ 1.857
$7.50 - $1. 857 = $5.643
Price- $ 5.643

I think store a is a better deal because it is much cheaper rather than paying more than 50 cents more.
